CMA Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to support a progressive services business in Havant, Hampshire. This interim position will be for a 6-month period, with the possibility of leading to a permanent role. The business has shown impressive growth over the last 3 years and offers excellent opportunities.

  1. Lead a small finance team and oversee all day-to-day finance operations, including monthly internal and external statutory reporting.
  2. Act as a business partner to senior stakeholders, ensuring finance information is fully understood and enabling sound decision making.
  3. Review internal processes to streamline reporting and improve timescales of getting information into the business.
  4. Support the review of the current finance system, with the possibility of leading the implementation of a new system.

The ideal candidate will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, with experience in a similar SME finance role. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as the business values its culture and sees healthy internal communication as a key part of its growth strategy.
