Special Needs Teaching Assistant Role

We are currently seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant to work with children who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities
This role involves providing one-to-one support, small group work, and assisting with classroom management. You will work closely with the class teacher and other professionals to support children with their learning. A strong understanding of the principles of inclusive education is essential for this role.

Requirements
  • Experience working as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of SEND and inclusive education
  • Ability to work effectively with children who have additional needs
  • Patient and empathetic approach
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits
We offer competitive rates of pay, including 12.07% statutory holiday pay, as well as ongoing support and training. This is a temporary position, but in some cases, the option to make it permanent may become available at a later date.
