About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and caring SEND Support Assistant to join our team at Career Teachers. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Student Support: Assist students with special needs in their daily activities, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  2. Inclusive Environment: Promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to thrive.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and staff to develop and implement effective support plans for students with SEND.
  4. Progress Monitoring: Document and communicate students' progress to parents and teachers, ensuring seamless collaboration.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in supporting students with SEND
  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Right to work in the UK

Salary Range
