Nuclear Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Specialist to join our team at Babcock International's Bristol site. As a key member of our Nuclear Commercial Strategy function, you will play a crucial role in positioning Babcock as a strategic partner with the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
The Role:
In this exciting role, you will provide commercial expertise and governance to internal stakeholders, developing and implementing commercial strategies that align with overall project objectives. You will also promote and maintain compliance with commercial policies, processes, and procedures, supporting the identification of contractual risk, quantification, and mitigation strategies.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in contract and bid management, ideally within the UK Defence market.
- Strong knowledge of commercial terms and types of agreements.
- Experience in UK MOD contracting methods and strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
