Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team at Macstaff. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating all project activities with a focus on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, setting, reviewing, and implementing project strategy.
- Utilize project management software for programming, reporting, and delay analysis.
- Lead pre-construction and post-completion processes, managing defects and post-completion works.
- Oversee people management, including team leadership, recruitment, and client expectations.
- Commercial Management: Understand construction contracts, manage notifications, claims, and disputes.
- Proactively work with commercial team members, oversee procurement processes, and ensure accurate reporting.
- SHE (Safety, Health and Environment): Proactively manage all aspects of SHE on-site, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Administration: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of compliance matters and utilize company processes and systems.
Requirements
- Managed projects valued between £2M and £6M.
- Managed multiple projects simultaneously, understanding and managing complex project information.
- Technical and construction knowledge, including contemporary and traditional construction methods, conservation, listed buildings, basements, and RC substructures.
- Competency in IT, including MS Office, project management software, and PDF editing.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
