Job Summary

The Telegraph's Production team is seeking a skilled Freelance Production Journalist to join our team on a freelance basis. As a Freelance Production Journalist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of content production for our online and print platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality content for online and print platforms, including news, features, and supplements.
  • Collaborate with our editorial team to develop and implement content strategies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate publication of content, including breaking news and long-form reads.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our audience and their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content production.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content production, preferably in a news or feature environment.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy and audience engagement.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
