Quality Assurance Engineer

At ENGINEERINGUK, we're seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Cambridge. As a core member of our embedded software development team, you'll be responsible for developing validation plans, automated tests, and analyzing validation data to ensure high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop validation plans tailored to specific hardware and firmware designs
  2. Design and implement automated tests using Python
  3. Analyze and interpret validation data to provide insights and recommendations
  4. Collaborate effectively with the team
  5. Communicate technical knowledge and ideas clearly
A Day in the Life
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll work closely with our development team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing automated tests, analyzing validation data, and providing insights and recommendations to improve our products.

Qualifications
  • Experience in automation testing
  • Experience in manual testing
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in API and mobile testing
  • Experience in Java, Perl, or Python-based automation
  • Experience in quality assurance engineering
