Supporting Software Excellence
We are currently seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Lifetime Training. As a Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of our software platform and pipelines.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop testing plans for our data products and pipelines, including Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Non-Functional Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Design test guidelines and standards for our team.
- Work with our development team to implement test automation, setting up test scripts, test data, and automation test frameworks.
- Support root cause analysis of defects and recommend resolution of system issues.
- Identify test defects and recommend appropriate solutions.
Your Skills
- Business analysis – you have experience working collaboratively with stakeholders to document test cases and scenarios from their business requirements.
- Independent – you won’t be micro-managed, so you’ll be confident taking a project and running with it.
- Attention to detail – you have a strong eye for detail and have experience chasing down bugs to identify the root causes of issues.
- A Team Player – data is a team sport, and you work well with others, can argue your point of view, and make suitable compromises.
- Technical – you’ll have experience testing software applications, so are confident with SQL queries and scripting automated test routines.
