Role Overview
Croda International Plc is seeking a talented individual to join our Research & Technology teams at Croda Ditton, Cheshire. As a Chemical Research Assistant, you will be working on the research and development of global projects in our Life Sciences and Consumer Care businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory work and develop novel inorganic materials and/or biobased additives for use in Sun Care products.
- Evaluate and characterise these products to ensure their quality and effectiveness.
- Work on the development of novel functional ingredients from natural polymers for use in applications across Hair Care, Sun Care, and Agricultural applications.
- Contribute to the evaluation and characterisation of these products.
Requirements
- A Level in Chemistry and working towards a 2.1 in a Chemistry or related degree.
- Good laboratory skills and the ability to communicate effectively in reports and verbally.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and plan your own workload.
- Team work, attention to detail, and good problem analysis skills are essential for this role.
