Job Title: Head of Supply Chain and Procurement
Job Summary
Essential Pharma is seeking an experienced Head of Supply Chain and Procurement to lead the overall strategy, planning, and execution of the supply chain and procurement functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, lean business models, and partnership-based management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a small team to ensure delivery of company goals and growth within the company.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of newly acquired products and new partners into the business.
- Monitor and manage global supply chain disruptions, identifying alternative sourcing solutions.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with global and local suppliers, establishing and monitoring appropriate KPIs.
- Oversee demand forecasting, inventory management, and scheduling to meet market needs and regulatory timelines.
- Proactive risk management to ensure appropriate inventory levels, balancing just-in-time delivery with safety stock to prevent shortages.
- Oversee the transportation, storage & pre-wholesaler partners, including cold chain logistics and hazardous material handling, adhering to GDP (Good Distribution Practices).
- Prepare and manage the procurement and supply chain budget, providing regular reports and analysis on procurement performance, savings, and supply chain risk management.
- Provide leadership for Supply Chain and Procurement on S&OP, senior SRM oversight, cross-functional alignment, and negotiation on pricing/COGs.
