We are seeking a qualified nursery teacher who can play a dual role in guiding early learners during their foundational years and ensuring that children with additional needs receive the tailored support they require.

About the Role:
  • Nursery Teaching Duties:
    • Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for nursery-aged children.
    • Create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported.
    • Monitor and assess progress to meet early years curriculum standards.
    • Special Educational Needs (SEN) Duties:
      • Identify and assess children with SEN.
      • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and parents.
      • Provide guidance and training to staff to ensure inclusive practices across the nursery.
      • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and SEN policies.
    Qualifications and Experience:
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
    • Experience working with early years students and coordinating SEN support.
    • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and SEN Code of Practice.
    • A nurturing, patient, and inclusive approach to teaching.
    • SENCO qualification or willingness to undertake SENCO training (preferred).
