Nursery and SENCO Teacher Opportunity

We are looking for a talented Nursery and SENCO Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity for a passionate teacher with expertise in early years education and special educational needs coordination to shape young minds and support every child to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Nursery Teaching Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for nursery-aged children.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported.
- Monitor and assess progress to meet early years curriculum standards.
- Identify and assess children with special educational needs (SEN).
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and parents.
- Provide guidance and training to staff to ensure inclusive practices across the nursery.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and SEN policies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
- Experience working with early years students and coordinating SEN support.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and SEN Code of Practice.
- A nurturing, patient, and inclusive approach to teaching.
- SENCO qualification or willingness to undertake SENCO training (preferred).
Salary and Benefits:
