We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team as a Care and Wellbeing Associate. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting older people in achieving their full potential.

About the Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for delivering activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social well-being among residents. You will work closely with the Wellbeing Coordinator to ensure that all activities are safe, engaging, and tailored to the needs of each individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe living environment and contribute to the positive image of the care home.
  • Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the relevant staff members.
  • Assist with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities.
  • Establish links with the local community to promote intergenerational activity.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of the role interaction plays in well-being.
  • A positive attitude towards older people and a commitment to providing stimulating activities.
  • Experience working with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting.
