**Job Title:** Mechanical Engineer - Generator Division

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Generator Division in Falkirk. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing generators in a workshop environment.

 

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repairing generators (10KVA – 400KVA) in a workshop environment
  • Conducting routine inspections, tests, and diagnostics
  • Ensuring all paperwork and maintenance records are completed accurately
  • Maintaining health and safety standards at all times

 

**Requirements:** To be successful as a Mechanical Engineer, you will have strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems related to generators or heavy plant machinery. You should hold an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent. Experience with brands like FG Wilson, Cummins, Perkins, CAT, Atlas Copco, Himoinsa, and more is highly desirable.

 

**What We Offer:** We offer a competitive salary of up to £40,000 DOE + overtime opportunities. You will also receive 23 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service), specialist training, and opportunities to gain further qualifications. Additionally, you will be eligible for an annual company bonus, employee discounts, and on-site parking.
