Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Library. The successful candidate will be responsible for traveling to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry (essential)
  2. Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
  3. Experience working on engines would be advantageous
  4. Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
  5. A desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own
  6. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
  7. Full UK Drivers License
The Package:

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:

  • 22 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays / Increasing by 1 day for every year of service (25 overall)
  • All overtime over 8 hours per day is paid at 1.5x (£21-£24 per hour)
  • A minimum of 5 hours of overtime available per week (average availability is 15-20 hours) Min (5 hours): Additional £5,460pa / Average (17 hours): Additional £18,564pa
  • Salary Sacrifice Scheme for an additional 5 days annual leave per annum
  • Full training & development with a focus on internal progression, route is as follows: (Workshop/Mobile Engineer > Lead Engineer > Hiring Manager > Site Manager > Regional Manager)
