About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our integrated multi-professional inpatient team at Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients undergoing rehabilitation and sub-acute care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide care and support to patients, including undertaking assessments, providing rehabilitation, and assisting with personal care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Document patient care and observations on a computerized system.
  • Participate in the care delivery of high-quality care that meets the needs of patients, 24/7.
Requirements
  • GCSE/O level standard education.
  • Recent care experience.
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions given by qualified staff.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic IT skills.
