About the Job

This Relationship Director position will focus on building and maintaining relationships with funded organisations, supporting the development of the museums sector in the north. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of funded organisations, providing funding advice and guidance on Arts Council National Lottery Project Grants and other funds.

You will also take a place-based, creativity-led approach to cultural development by working with local stakeholders in targeted areas. This includes helping to improve the diversity of the projects we fund by giving feedback to applicants and looking to support a wide range of first-time applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of funded organisations
  • Provide funding advice and guidance
  • Assess financial information and identify risk
  • Take a place-based, creativity-led approach to cultural development

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £36,987 per annum, plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme and generous annual leave. We are committed to flexible working and offer hybrid working options.
