About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Podiatrist to join our team at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As an Advanced Podiatrist, you will be responsible for delivering specialist foot care to patients at Barnet Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality foot care to patients with complex and high-risk foot conditions
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Develop and maintain clinical standards and clinical audit to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the development of the podiatry service and participate in service improvement initiatives
  • Supervise and educate junior staff and students in podiatry
Requirements
  • Post-registration experience in diabetes, vascular disease, and other acute foot conditions
  • Experience of working at a band 6 level or above in an acute hospital setting with a high-risk caseload
  • Knowledge of recent developments in the profession and the NICE Diabetes guidelines
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work within Trust policies, including clinical governance, data protection, equal opportunities, and health and safety
