Pastoral Support Specialist

Are you a dedicated and empathetic individual looking to make a positive impact on the lives of students?
We are seeking a skilled Pastoral Support Worker to join our team at Randstad Education, working with students in KS3 and KS4 in Lancaster.
Your role will involve providing essential support to students facing personal, academic, or social challenges, monitoring their progress, and facilitating interventions to promote positive behaviour and resilience.
You will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create a safe and nurturing environment where students can thrive.
As a Pastoral Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting pupils within a classroom setting
- Providing a well-planned, purposeful learning environment
- Using imagination to enhance the learning experience
- Being observant and managing behaviour and distractions
- Inspiring students to reach their potential
Preferred skills include a background in working with education, strong behaviour management, and a nurturing and kind demeanour.
