We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our team in energy transitions. As a Senior Energy Transition Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping the region's sustainable future.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee energy-related projects, ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders and effective implementation of national/local policies.

Key to this position is your ability to guide the Highland Council's property portfolio towards Net Zero emissions, utilizing your expertise in energy fields.

To excel in this role, you must possess energy-related qualifications or experience, with potential for progression to Chartered Engineer status.

A degree-level education in an energy discipline is essential, complemented by an unwavering commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry developments.

Mindful of the demands of this position, we require at least 2 years of experience in roles that necessitate a deep understanding of energy and climate change issues.

Flexibility to travel for work and training purposes is also crucial.

Remuneration:

This position offers a competitive salary range of £32,814 - £36,727 per annum.
