CCTV and Door Access Control Engineer Job Description

Hexagon Recruitment is pleased to be working with a leading UK-based network installation company to recruit a Permanent CCTV and Door Access Control Engineer (Field-Based).

Our client is a well-established company that has grown year on year through providing a quality service to their customers across multiple sectors, including Retail, Commercial, and Industrial locations. They specialize in installing network installations, CCTV and door access controls, fire alarms, digital surveillance, hardware deployment, and wireless networks.

As a CCTV and Door Access Control Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining CCTV and door access control systems, as well as providing excellent customer service to clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a installations, as well as experience with data cabling installations, access points, and antennas.

The successful candidate will also have experience with CCTV systems, including Verkada, and door access control installations, including Paxton and Verkada. A valid full UK driving license is required, as the role will involve working throughout London and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain CCTV and door access control systems
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients
  • Work on a variety of projects, including network installations, CCTV and door access control systems, and fire alarms
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Work away from home and overtime as required

Our client offers a competitive salary of £38,000 to £40,000, depending on experience, as well as a company vehicle, paid overtime, fuel card, expenses, and a benefits package.
