CCTV & Door Access Control Engineer Job Opportunity

Hexagon Recruitment is pleased to be working with a leading UK-based Network Installation company to recruit a Permanent CCTV & Door Access Control Engineer (Field-Based).

Our client is a renowned provider of quality network installations, CCTV & Door Access Controls, Fire Alarms, Digital Surveillance, Hardware Deployment, and Wireless Networks across multiple sectors, including Retail, Commercial, and Industrial locations.

As a CCTV & Door Access Control Installation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, installing and maintaining network installations, CCTV systems, and door access controls. Our client offers a competitive salary of £38,000 to £40,000, depending on experience, as well as a company vehicle, paid overtime, fuel card, expenses, and a benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain network installations, CCTV systems, and door access controls
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments
Requirements:
  • Experience with Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a installations
  • Excellent customer-facing skills and ability to communicate with all levels of customers
  • Desirable experience with data cabling installations, installation of access points and antennas, and CCTV systems (Verkada is an advantage)
  • Hold a valid Full UK Driving licence
  • Be field-based, working throughout London and the UK
  • Be able to work away from home and work overtime as required
