Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Lead to drive business growth in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the full lifecycle sales process, identifying and initiating new sales opportunities through prospecting, building client relationships, and delivering sales presentations.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets, aligning with company objectives and vision.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive the sales process, from initial prospect identification to successful closure.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects, leveraging market and technical knowledge to address their specific needs.
  • Act as a market expert, providing product/service use cases during the sales cycle and representing Moody's at industry events.
  • Provide current and accurate forecasts and pipeline information to management.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in direct business-to-business sales roles, serving financial services and/or investment customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex sales cycles to successful conclusion through consultative selling techniques.
  • Strong understanding of different parts of the global financial services industry, including market dynamics and customer drivers.
  • Proven ability to interact with senior executives both internally and externally.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
