Job Title: Classroom Support Professional

Salary: Starting at £110 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Support Professional to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our students.

About the Role:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, maintaining a positive and safe learning environment
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to overcome barriers to learning
  • Implement pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring students stay on task and manage any disruptions
  • Collaborate with support staff to provide a comprehensive support service
  • Promote the safeguarding and welfare of all students

About You:

  • Experience working with children, preferably within an educational or coaching setting
  • Patient, empathetic, and dedicated
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in their learning
  • A strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support young people
  • Adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to drive and have access to your own car
