Repairs Scheduler Role

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a skilled Repairs Scheduler to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operative diaries to ensure efficient scheduling of repairs.
  • Liaise with tenants and operatives to arrange repairs and resolve queries.
  • Plan and coordinate repairs works, prioritizing emergency tasks.
  • Book appointments and allocate works to available operatives.
  • Monitor and follow up on repair progress from start to completion.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, and operatives to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of contract paperwork.
  • Diagnose repairs, including trade and duration, and book appointments with tenants.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and residents to meet targets and deliver an excellent service.
  • Use and update IT systems, inputting and extracting information as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and undertake relevant training.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a customer service environment.
  • Experience in a Housing environment.
  • Experience in a repairs and maintenance environment.
  • Ability to make decisions based on set standards and procedures.
  • High level of performance and ability to maintain it consistently.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, with ability to empathize with customers.
  • Accurate IT skills, including Microsoft Word.
