Community Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to join our Adult Disability Service in Preston. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as household chores, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Support individuals to participate in community activities, such as shopping, social events, and leisure pursuits.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns.
- Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting their independence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and sleep-ins, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Basic knowledge of health and social care principles, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
- DBS clearance and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data protection.
