Accounts Receivable Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced AP/AR professional to take on a leadership role and make a real impact on our business. As a key member of our finance team, you'll be responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable function for our European region, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Accounts Receivable function for the European region, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing
  • Run weekly ledger analysis and reporting to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Complete monthly customer statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast to inform business decisions
  • Monitor bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
  • Work closely with the AP team to ensure all invoices are approved before payment
  • Sign off on weekly payment runs to ensure timely and accurate payment
  • Resolve supplier invoice queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure existing customers receive excellent service, accurate invoicing, and billing solutions
  • Drive improvements in the billing process and organization to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in weekly strategy meetings to address concerns and acknowledge individual/team accomplishments
  • Conduct bi-weekly team meetings to discuss monthly results and tactical items
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other departments and department managers, particularly with sales
  • Track and analyze metrics to ensure department goals are being met
  • Provide support and guidance to the AR team on the tools used
  • Coordinate financial and budgetary administration for the AR team

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
  • Experience working with a computerized ledger system, such as Microsoft Dynamics
  • Confident and clear communicator
  • 2-5 years of experience in a leadership role
