Credit and Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team at Werfen. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will be responsible for timely collection of company receivables, assessing credit worthiness of existing customers, and working closely with other team members to improve cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collection of assigned portfolio of accounts through customer calls, emails, letters, and in-person visits to ensure timely collection of receivables.
- Assessing existing credit lines to ensure consistency with customer payment habits.
- Reviewing customer balance sheets and income statements as necessary to recommend credit line changes to the Senior Credit and Collection Analyst.
- Collaborating with Customer Service to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
- Proactively reviewing procedures and providing management with process improvement opportunities.
- Performing other duties as assigned, such as cash posting, monthly reporting, and ordering supplies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Credit/Collections field.
