We are seeking an experienced and motivated Geotechnical Reporting Manager to join our dynamic Geoconsultancy team based in Great Yarmouth. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality geotechnical data and reports to clients while staying up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.

About the Role:
  • Leadership and Management: Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a team of geotechnical project engineers, including performance management, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Technical Input: Oversee technical input and quality control of geotechnical data during projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Report Coordination: Coordinate and manage the submission of Geotechnical Reports in a timely manner, meeting client expectations and deadlines.
  • Offshore Site Investigation: Understand the full life cycle of an offshore site investigation project, from tendering to final deliverables, including laboratory programmes and advanced testing.
  • Methodologies and Deliverables: Develop methodologies, calculations, and deliverables in line with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Tender Support: Provide technical input to tenders under the direction of the Head of Geoconsultancy.
Your Qualifications:
  • A minimum BSc or equivalent degree in Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering.
  • High-level experience in offshore geotechnical data acquisition, including CPT data processing and interpretation.
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality geotechnical reports.
  • Knowledge of technical methodologies and maintenance of current processing and reporting processes in line with industry standards.
  • Prior experience mentoring and training a team of geotechnical engineers.
  • Previous management experience is advantageous.
