Geotechnical Project Engineer Graduate Job

At Gardline Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our team. As a Graduate Geotechnical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out office and offshore geotechnical activities in line with industry-accepted standards and Gardline principles.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect high-quality data and sample collection, management, and interpretation of results, and collate the findings in a comprehensive geotechnical factual report.
  • Assist with geotechnical laboratory schedules, associated specifications, and reporting.
  • Provide technical assistance to ongoing offshore projects.
  • Acquire and process high-quality CPTu & SCPTu geotechnical data.
  • Undertake basic offshore laboratory testing and soil and rock logging.
  • Perform computerized data processing and prepare results in accordance with industry standards and in-house practices.
  • Compile field geotechnical reports offshore.
  • Assist in compilation of factual/engineering geotechnical reports onshore.

Your Qualities:

  • A minimum BSc or equivalent degree with a specialism in Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering.
  • Work experience in this industry.
  • Experience in reporting writing and quality control of data.
  • Communicates in a clear, open, and honest way, encouraging constructive feedback.
  • Ability to travel (up-to-date Passport and valid Driving License).
