Job Title: Geotechnical Reporting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Reporting Manager to join our Geoconsultancy team in Great Yarmouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing geotechnical data presentation and helping the team understand new acquisition methodologies in the offshore geotechnical industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain current processing and reporting processes in line with industry standards
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a team of geotechnical project engineers, including performance management, coaching, and performance appraisal
  • Oversee technical input and quality control of geotechnical data during a project, ensuring it meets industry standards and client specifications
  • Coordinate and manage the submission of Geotechnical Reports in a timely manner
  • Understand the full life cycle of an offshore site investigation project, from tendering to final deliverables, including a full laboratory programme
  • Develop methodologies, calculations, and deliverables in line with industry standards and client requirements
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the tendering process to assist when the Head of Geo-Consultancy is absent
  • Understand and be responsible for safety in the working environment
Requirements:
  • A minimum BSc or equivalent degree with a specialisation in the Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering
  • High level of experience in offshore geotechnical data acquisition, quality control, and processing/interpretation of CPT data and seabed samples
  • Production of geotechnical reports and knowledge of technical methodologies
  • Mentor and train geotechnical project engineers
  • Ability to travel (up-to-date Passport and valid Driving License)
