Your Role

As a Seismic Exploration Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and interpreting shallow geophysical data, integrating multiple datasets, and compiling technical reports for clients. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our offshore renewable developments, site surveys, and UXO threat assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake processing and interpretation of shallow geophysical data to deliver high-quality results
  • Integrate data from various sources, including environmental, geotechnical, and multichannel seismic data
  • Compile comprehensive technical geohazard interpretation reports for clients
  • Provide onshore support for vessel operations, ensuring seamless collaboration with our team
  • Contribute to the development of new skills and knowledge within the department

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Enthusiasm, ingenuity, and personal drive to deliver exceptional results
  • A degree-level qualification or higher in an earth science-related subject
  • Familiarity with geohazard assessments and a general understanding of the marine survey industry
  • A collaborative work ethic and strong communication skills

What We Offer:

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary, ranging between £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including 22 days annual leave, flexible working arrangements, access to private healthcare, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
