Supply Chain Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee the delivery of automotive parts into stock.

As a key member of our team, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of parts while collaborating with other departments on engineering, production, and planning.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a related field and have proven managerial and supply chain experience, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and IT literacy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating weekly stock usage reports and monthly reporting activities
  • Knowledge of supply chain tools and systems, including Zoho, is advantageous
  • Communicating and building relationships with vendors, including overseas
  • Sourcing new suppliers and products
  • Assisting R&D in ordering and bringing new products into stock
  • Managing new product introductions at the system level
  • Arranging sea shipments with chosen logistics suppliers
  • Processing shipping documents and delivery notes
  • Booking into stock, processing amendments to records, order processing, and creating purchase orders
  • Communicating with other departments on stock arrival schedules and new product introductions
  • Assembling monthly accrual calculations of freight and warehousing expenditure
  • Maintaining in-house records accurately
  • Coordination with support functions to resolve open accounts or stock-related issues
  • Producing progress reports and custom reports when required
  • Regular reconciliation of system stock vs. warehouse stock
  • Data analysis and reporting on trends

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
