Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our Operations teams in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the business and play a pivotal role in creating great availability to our existing and new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning end-to-end product, data, and performance for their categories and customers
  • Owning escalations at the right time where opportunities/risks arise in regards to product flow
  • Leading category availability of product flow measures within the business team
  • Developing strong collaborative relationships with the full Business Team who work on the category to agree the optimum levels of products to meet customer demand
  • Actively managing supplier base and negotiating with suppliers on service performance
  • Improving availability all the way through the end-to-end supply chain from supplier to shelf edge (group)
  • Reviewing promotional performance and stock targets on a weekly basis and agreeing actions with trading to limit impact to inventory levels or wastage at store

About You

We're looking for someone with an understanding of retail business, processes, and consumer demand. You should have a strong grasp of Supply Chain principles, including stock, availability, waste, and markdown, as well as experience with data management, management forecasting, and interpreting trends.

Our supply chain is where we make sure our shelves are full and looking great without creating waste. It's about growing our online business, including our partnership with Ocado, and building our wholesale function as we work with Amazon to supply external businesses rather than just our stores.
