Supply Chain Specialist Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our Operations teams in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding availability to our partners in designated product categories, while minimizing cash impacts to the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the business and play a pivotal role in creating great availability to our existing and new customers. You'll be at the heart of decision-making, using data and influence to drive improvement and change.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Owning end-to-end product, data, and performance for your categories and customers
  • Owning escalations at the right time where opportunities or risks arise in regards to product flow
  • Leading category availability of product flow measures within the business team
  • Developing strong collaborative relationships with the full Business Team to agree optimum levels of products to meet customer demand
  • Actively managing the supplier base and negotiating with suppliers on service performance
  • Improving availability throughout the end-to-end supply chain from supplier to shelf edge
  • Reviewing promotional performance and stock targets on a weekly basis and agreeing actions with trading to limit impact to inventory levels or wastage at store

This role will be based in our fantastic head office in Bradford, offering a 4.5-day working week and flexible hybrid working hours. You'll have access to our on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience store, and more.

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of retail business, processes, and consumer demand. You'll need advanced Excel skills, excellent stakeholder management ability, and experience in data management, management forecasting, and interpreting trends. Proven delivery of projects to a schedule is essential.
