Job Description

CK Group is seeking a highly skilled Medicinal Chemist to join their clinical stage oncology biotechnology team in West London. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of novel cancer treatments and be part of a growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the synthesis of novel compounds for drug discovery programs
  • Manage chemical and biological data to support ongoing synthesis and understanding of SAR
  • Track compound synthesis and assay scheduling across multiple projects
  • Participate in team meetings and present data to colleagues and management
Requirements:
  • PhD/MSc in Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or related field
  • Strong synthetic chemistry skills and experience with a variety of synthetic techniques
  • Experience of using chemistry/biology data handling systems, eg CDD, Dotmatics
  • Able to multitask and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
