Job Title: Female Support Worker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team and provide support to a young lady with cerebral palsy and other complex needs.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, social, and recreational activities, and empowering her to be as independent as possible.
The role will involve providing 2-1 care 24/7, including flexible support during holidays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering therapy programmes and participating in activities such as hydrotherapy and outdoor pursuits
- Providing full moving and handling and all aspects of personal care
- Working collaboratively with the Case Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure the client receives the best possible care
- Participating in regular supervision and training to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to provide individualized support
- Previous experience working with young adults with physical and cognitive impairment
- A positive attitude and the ability to motivate and engage the client
- A full, clean UK driving licence (experience of driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle is desirable but not essential)
- Dependability and professionalism, with a strong commitment to honesty and discretion
