We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to a young lady with cerebral palsy and complex needs living in her own home in the Sheffield area.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 2-1 care 24/7, enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, social, and recreational activities, and empowering her to be as independent as possible. This will involve full moving and handling and all aspects of personal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to the client, promoting independence and dignity
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Supporting the client in engaging in rehabilitation, social, and recreational activities
  • Collaborating with the Case Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure the client's needs are met
  • Participating in regular supervision and training to maintain and develop skills

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, a caring and compassionate nature, and a desire to provide individualized support. Previous care experience with young adults is preferred, but not essential. The successful applicant will receive full training and support from our established support team and Case Manager.

Requirements:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • £14.17 per hour (waking days) and £14.70 per hour (waking nights)
  • Driver with full UK license essential
