Optical Department Manager

We are seeking an experienced Optical Manager to join our team at Asda Stores Ltd. As an Optical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our optical department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and motivate a team of Optometrists and Optical Assistants to deliver high-quality patient service.
- Oversee compliance processes and procedures to ensure that our optical department meets the highest standards.
- Review sales forecasting and department targets to drive business growth and success.
- Deal with customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work closely with an Optometrist to coach and develop your team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- A fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
- On track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Confident in coaching and developing others.
- Able to provide excellent customer and patient care.
- Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets.
- Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced Optics environment.
- Organised and able to manage your time effectively.
