Optical Department Manager

We are seeking an experienced Optical Manager to join our team at Asda Stores Ltd. As a key member of our optical department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our opticians, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead a team of optometrists and optical assistants to deliver high-quality patient service
- Oversee compliance processes and procedures to ensure regulatory requirements are met
- Review sales forecasting and department targets to drive business growth
- Deal with customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Coach and develop team members to improve their skills and performance
- Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- On track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Confident in coaching and developing others
- Able to provide excellent customer and patient care
- Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets
