Deputy Head of School

NHS England is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Head of School to join our team in the East Midlands. This part-time secondment position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Head of School and other senior educators to lead the delivery of various functions aligned with the NHS England mandate.
The successful candidate will support the Head of School in overseeing the overall quality, management, and supervision of programmes within the School. This includes ensuring all programmes meet the standards set by Health Education England, the GMC, and Royal College. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head of School in developing and implementing strategies to achieve these goals.
This role involves working closely with NHSE's senior educators, other Heads of Schools, Directors of Medical Education, and Training Programme Directors to ensure that each trainee has access to a comprehensive range of experiences that enable them to cover the speciality curricula. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
