Pure Search is proud to partner with a leading firm in the Tech, Media, Entertainment and Telecoms space to recruit an Associate Solicitor with a passion for gaming.

The Firm:

Our client is a renowned name in the creative industries, working with top games developers, publishers, and platforms. They advise on music licensing arrangements in the Metaverse, video game development and publishing transactions, IP rights, media finance, and data protection.

The Team:

Working closely with the Head of Gaming, you will advise on all aspects of the video games sector, from development and publishing, global distribution, IPO, enforcement, compliance, and brand strategies, to supporting investment and acquisitions into VR, AR, and eSports gaming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Game and content licensing, development, and distribution agreements;
  • Sponsorship, endorsement, and voiceover contracts;
  • Game music licensing and commissioning;
  • Advising on AI and game development;
  • Design rights, copyright issues, and trade mark enforcement;
  • Preparing brand protection strategies for IP rights;
  • Advising on data and privacy aspects of video games deals.

About You:

You will be an England & Wales qualified Solicitor with 4-6 years post-qualification experience. Our client values candidates with existing gaming experience, but a genuine passion for gaming is essential. You will be committed to forging a career at the top of the gaming industry.
