We are committed to providing high-quality support to students with SEN, and we are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant.

About the Job:

This role involves providing tailored support to students aged 11-16 with SEMH/SEN needs, under the supervision of teaching staff in our Secondary school in Middlesbrough.

  • Develop and implement individualized support plans, working closely with teaching staff and other professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students with challenging behaviour, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Contribute to the creation of a supportive and inclusive school culture, fostering positive relationships among students, staff, and parents.

We require an enhanced child-only DBS registration, along with patience, reliability, and confidence when working with children and young people.
