Responsibilities:

  • Process shipments via air, ocean, and road.
  • Complete all relevant import/export paperwork and enter console data.
  • Prepare and submit HM Customs paperwork depending on the mode of transport.
  • Manage HAWB's, MAWB's, and IATA forms.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Arrange collections and deliveries of freight with haulage companies.
  • Provide quotations for air, road, and ocean services to customers.
  • Negotiate ad-hoc rates with suppliers.
  • Invoice shipments and reconcile supplier invoices.
  • Ensure sufficient stationery is available for departmental needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience with consolidations, HAWBs/MAWBs, and IATA shipment procedures.
  • Knowledge of customs procedures and Inward & Outward Processing Reliefs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (WORD, OUTLOOK, EXCEL) and ASM/Chief system.
  • Ability to work independently, handle customer queries, and communicate effectively.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including overtime, and be on call as needed.
