About the Role

Parkinson's UK is seeking a highly skilled Business Support Officer to join our Community Directorate in Wales. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional administrative support to our Wales Director and team, ensuring the smooth operation of our community services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the Director of Wales, including coordinating meetings, events, and projects.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work closely with the team in Wales to maintain accurate records of our activities and update the local activity database.
  • Stay up-to-date with the directorate's activities to provide clear and accurate information.

Requirements

  • Experience in team administration or supporting a senior executive.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Ability to work co-productively with people living with Parkinson's.
  • Excellent administration skills, including note-taking, presentation preparation, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
