About the Role:

The Systems Developer will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organisation by leveraging advanced data visualisation and analysis techniques.

This position focuses on creating scalable MI solutions that improve business processes, drive efficiency, and uncover insights from large datasets.

  1. Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide insights and business intelligence solutions.
  2. Data Analysis and Extraction: Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various databases, ensuring data integrity and optimisation of performance.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate business requirements into actionable data insights.
  4. Advanced Analytics and AI: Leverage advanced analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and machine learning techniques (where applicable) to push the boundaries of data-driven decision-making.
  5. Automation and Process Improvement: Automate data workflows and reporting processes to streamline business operations and reduce manual effort.
  6. Platform Management: Maintain and manage existing MS Dynamics 365 platform.
  7. Online Platform Management: Maintain and manage online Statement of Account platform running on Zoho Creator.
  8. Stakeholder Engagement: Effective communication with relevant stakeholders to fully assess their data requirements, working to agreed SLAs, and delivering exceptional service.
  9. Collaboration and Delivery: Collaborate with IT and other internal teams in the delivery of appropriate solutions.
  10. Documentation and Compliance: Document configuration, processes, and workflows.
  11. Regulatory Compliance: Comply fully with all regulatory requirements and our internal data governance policies.
  12. Third-Party Communication: Effective communication with third parties where necessary regarding any data, services, or changes to the existing platforms.

Requirements:

  • Adequate knowledge and ideally minimum of 2 years' experience of PowerBI and SQL and Excel.
  • Good understanding of Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Power Automate (Flow), Jira Service Desk, Zoho Creator, Dynamics 365 would be beneficial.
  • Innovative, with a passion for exploring new technologies and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a forward-thinking, creative approach to tackling challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work autonomously, as well as effectively collaborating within a team.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and resources to consistently prioritise and deliver within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to challenge processes to ensure operational efficiency at all times.

Salary Information:

We are offering £35,000 per annum for this position. This salary is estimated based on industry standards for similar roles in the Dudley area and takes into account the qualifications, skills, and experience required for the position.
