Job Title: Asset Management Director

Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking - SGCIB is a leading financial services group with a strong presence in Europe and a growing presence in Africa, Asia, and the Americas.

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Director to join our team in Fixed Income & Currencies - A Solutions & Derivatives House. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full range of services to institutional and corporate clients, supporting their investment or risk management targets.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Participating in FX production, sharing expertise with the e-FX team, and helping to improve volumes and rankings on D2C platforms.
  • Adding Precious Metals to FX pricing and hedging stacks and collaborating on alpha research using existing algo software, D2D and D2C electronic platforms, and market data on products.
  • Running and monitoring the electronic book and managing intraday and overnight risk, including EFP positions.
  • Developing other FIC Flow assets in algo and Precious Metals derivatives, including Options and Forwards.
  • Building, fostering, and cultivating client relationships in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Taking orders and executing on behalf of clients in accordance with SG Trading handbook and compliance policies.
  • Managing his/her book and hedging risk appropriately.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Market knowledge and experience in Investment banking/financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
