Multi Skilled Engineer Role and Responsibilities:

* Reading and understanding engineering drawings
* Working to a high standard of accuracy and aesthetic
* Turning / Milling operations
* Bench fitting equipment / machine assembly including pneumatic piping and electrical wiring
* Adhering to rules and procedures in relation to health safety

Within the role of a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will develop new skills such as:

* Installation / modifications to packaging machinery and equipment on the clients site
* Service and maintenance of packaging machinery and equipment
* Fabrication and welding techniques
* Reading and understanding technical engineering drawings
* A working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems
* An understanding of complex production automation machinery and systems
* Comprehensive understanding of best practice mechanical fitting operations
* A comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment lifting and moving and levelling techniques

Key Skills and Qualifications:

* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
* Experience with fabrication and welding techniques
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently
* Strong problem-solving skills

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable client based in North Norfolk as a Multi Skilled Engineer. As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including reading and understanding engineering drawings, working to a high standard of accuracy and aesthetic, and adhering to rules and procedures in relation to health safety.

You will also have the opportunity to develop new skills such as installation / modifications to packaging machinery and equipment on the clients site, service and maintenance of packaging machinery and equipment, and fabrication and welding techniques.
