Counterbalance Forklift Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team at The Recruitment Group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a temporary to permanent position, working with a reputable client based just outside of Hull.

The role involves working on rotating shifts with overtime available, and after 12 weeks, the job may become permanent for the right candidate. As a full-time ongoing role, you will work Monday to Friday, with morning and afternoon shifts.

The hourly rate for this position is £13.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the safe handling and movement of loads and materials.
  • Conducting thorough pre-shift inspections to guarantee equipment readiness.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Performing warehouse duties.
  • Filling relevant documentation and checking delivery notes.
  • Following instructions and adhering to safety procedures.

Requirements for this role include:

  • A valid counterbalance forklift license.
  • Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to perform equipment inspections and maintain attention to detail.

We are looking for candidates with a valid counterbalance forklift license, warehouse experience, and skills in picking and packing. Please note that safety boots and a hi-vis vest are required for this role.
