About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver/Labourer to join our team at KFM Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move quantities of scrap and cars, as well as assisting in de-polluting vehicles and general labouring in a metals recycling environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Separate metals and store them in the correct locations
  • Operate a counterbalance forklift to move scrap and cars safely and efficiently
  • Assist in de-polluting vehicles, including removal of fuel, oil, filters, batteries, tyres, and other salvageable parts
  • Perform general labouring tasks in a metals recycling environment

Requirements:

  • Valid counterbalance forklift certificate
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12 (+ holiday pay)
  • Excellent working hours – 8am to 4.30pm, (3.30pm finish on Friday)
  • 39 hours/week
  • Premium rate overtime when required
  • Small friendly team
